Aaron Hendren
Peculiar and charismatic, Aaron Hendren has been making microbudget movies utilizing his own brand of odd charm for over ten years. His movies maneuver through genres from drama to comedy to horror and science-fiction musical.
Aaron Hendren is writer, director, producer, actor, and musician. He was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a producer working in films, theatre, radio plays, and music including the soundtrack of his musical Psycho Bettys From Planet Pussycat. Hendren is a playwright whose play Dollar Store Shampoo was produced regionally across the southwest. He is a Satellite member of Tricklock Company, an Albuquerque-based international theatre ensemble, where he has written and performed plays and music and has toured across the US, Europe, and Colombia. He is a producer/director of a cultural archiving film project in Uganda, and the Media Coordinator for The Revolutions International Theatre Festival. Hendren's work can be found in arthouse cinemas, on stage, on television, and across the internet. He makes his home in downtown Albuquerque with his small creatures and beautiful wife.
Hendren considers his greatest talent to be his ability to get all of the right people together in the same room.
