Andrew Bowen
Raised on a steady diet of Marvel Comics, Science Fiction and movies from the 80's and 90's, Andrew Bowen is a multi-talented actor/writer/director/producer who's infectious passion for cinema, comedy and character-driven storytelling has been the driving force behind his more than two decades of work in the film and television industry. Since debuting as a series regular on Fox's comedy series Mad TV (where his impressions of Keanu Reeves and Nic Cage are legendary), Bowen has appeared in over 250 film and TV productions working with industry legends from Uma Thurman, Gale Anne Hurd (Aliens, The Walking Dead), James Mangold (Logan, Ford VS Ferrari) and Lasse Hallström (What's Eating Gilbert Grape). Some of Bowen's notable credits include starring roles in the films All For Nikki, Rock Jocks, Holidays, appearances on Shameless, NCIS, Leverage and over 150 national commercials. Bowen has also lent his voice talents to brands from Jeep to McDonalds and has been featured in some of the most successful video game titles of all time including voicing the character of Johnny Cage in WB's hugely popular Mortal Kombat. An accomplished screenwriter and director, Bowen received critical praise for his award winning comedic sci-fi, action-adventure short film The 716th. The wildly entertaining short that Bowen wrote, directed, produced, edited, production designed and starred in, world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was later released on Amazon Prime Video. Bowen is currently developing a dynamic slate of film & TV projects including his comedic, sci-fi, family adventure trilogy The Mcauliffe Equation, the Christmas action film Decision Height and an expanded film and TV universe based off his hit film The 716th. Bowen is also in the early stages of launching Some Assembly Required, a production banner and VFX house with longtime friend and fellow 716th producer Jon Alvord.
