Anton Downing

Anton Downing was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in History and Master of Science in Emergency Services Management. After graduating from college, Downing followed his family's footsteps in becoming a firefighter. After seeing his twin brother Anthony Downing investing in real estate, he too wanted to gain complete control of his destiny and start to invest in real estate. But after seeing how his brother, survives real estate during the 2008 recession. Downing is known for starring on HGTV's DOUBLE DOWN CHICAGO with his brother Anthony, where they battle gentrification by purchasing, renovating and selling attainable, middle-class Chicago housing, having a keen eye for architecture and design. He is also seen on Tru TV's BACKYARD BAR WARS, a television show based on building DIY bars in homes with a mix of comedy. When cameras aren't rolling, Downing is educating his community about financial literacy, real estate investment and generational wealth. In addition, Downing has a weekly podcast show called Homecoming with the Downing Brothers where the brothers gives access and resources to those who are looking to get their start into building a better life.
