Antonio Monroi
Antonio was born in 1953, as a young man he studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving at "La Esmeralda". Exhibits collective and individual works in national and foreign galleries. After publishing articles in magazines and newspapers, his desire and passion takes him even further and that is when he decides to begin his training and life as an actor. Profession that leads him to work in film, theater and voice over. His voice is heard in several radio programs with a cultural nature, and during 2010 he was the institutional voice of the show Yo México. Among his theatrical productions are: Las Tentaciones de María Egipciada by Miguel Sabido, Tirano Banderas by R. del Valle Inclán and coordinated by Ignacio Lopez Tarso, La Guerra de las Gordas by Salvador Novo, El Hombre Drácula, Expresso al Paraiso, Catorce nails , The Valladolid controversy, La Llorona and La Construcción, just to name a few. His work in cinema ranges from international as well as national films, including Apocalypto directed by Mel Gibson, Blueberry by Jan Kounen, Blow by Ted Demme, Santo Luzbel directed by Miguel Sabido, El Evangelio de las Maravillas by maestro Arturo Ripstein, Rito Terminal, A rare world, Vaho, among others.
