C. David Johnson
Born in Montreal, transplanted to the Maritimes, and now based in Toronto, David began his career with Theatre New Brunswick, where he has continued to perform for over twenty five years. Audiences will remember him as the morally dubious Chuck Tchobanian on the long running CBC series _"Street Legal" (1986)_, for which he received four Gemini Award nominations. He has also performed with the Soulpepper Theatre Company in Toronto, the Stratford Festival Company, and the National Arts Centre Company, and in regional theatres across Canada. Film and television credits include Soul Food (2000) (Showtime), The Safety of Objects (2001) (Killer Films), Mysterious Island (1995) (Global), Thanks of a Grateful Nation (1998), Aldrich Ames: Traitor Within (1998) (Showtime), and _Hidden Dimensions, The (1997)_(IMAX).
David is an alumnus of Stanstead College, the University of New Brunswick, and the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School. When not working, he fly-fishes, and is difficult to find.
