Connie Chen
Recently featured singing "Whatta Man" on NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (2020), Connie got her first break in the cult classic American Psycho (2000) as Gwendolyn Ichiban opposite Christian Bale and Matt Ross. A highly versatile actor and vocalist, Connie moves with ease and confidence through all genres from vulnerable working-class to tech-savvy sci-fi.
Born in the suburbs of DC to Taiwanese immigrants, Connie never walked the straight path. She began acting in commercials as a preteen and went on to front a pop girl band, dance in a Salsa team, and rap and play keys in a 90's hip hop cover band. Somewhere in between, she graduated from NYU in Communications, and worked in everything from corporate marketing, to hair cutting, to architectural drafting. Her depth and flexibility as a performer are the culmination of these diverse experiences. A wife and mother of two, Connie currently resides in Los Angeles.
