Conor McCarry
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Conor grew up in the Southside. He attended stage school as a youngster and from then on decided to try Acting. He began training at Motherwell College when he left high school at 17.
His first break came in 2010 when he was cast in Peter Berg's blockbuster 'Battleship'. He then went on to train as an actor and during that time he filmed various roles for TV and film including Joe Wright's 'Anna Karenina' and Susanne Bier's 'The 'Night Manager'. After finishing training he was cast in BBC's 'Rillington Place', as well as a supporting lead in ITV's 6 part drama 'The Loch'. In 2018 he was cast in new recurring role in BBC's award winning drama 'Shetland'. More recently, he can seen in new Netflix drama, 'The Irregulars'. Conor is also the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for pop-rock band, 'Cloudhouse'
