Corentin Fila
Corentin Fila was born on September 28, 1988 in Paris. His mother is a specialized teacher and his father, David-Pierre Fila, of Congolese origin, is a documentary filmmaker. His childhood is rocked by a rich cultural environment, and his godfather is singer Zao. As a teenager, he goes to an ES baccalaureate and then gets a bachelor's degree in economics. Spotted in the street, he signed with the Elite agency and gained his independence through modeling. It is by chance that he arrives at comedy. In 2012, he attended a performance of Peter Brook's The Suit at the Bouffes du Nord Theater, performed by South African actors. It is at this moment that the click occurs. Struck by his artistic fiber, he enrolled in the free class of Cours Florent. During his first casting, he is noticed by André Téchiné who gives him the role of Tom, teenager who represses his homosexuality, in When we are 17 years old (2016). This role earned him a César nomination for the best male prospect, along with his playmate Kacey Mottet Klein.
