Corey MacIntosh
Corey MacIntosh is a Canadian actor, & producer who resides in Los Angeles, California. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia he got his start at the NOSCO Academy of Theatre Arts at the age of 11, where he would study every summer for the next ten years.
In Halifax, he worked on a number of films, CBC Radio broadcasts & Theatre productions. In 2001, he moved to Sedona Arizona, where he would live for the next four years; performing in shows at the Canyon Moon Theater as well as films from the Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmaking.
In 2005, upon receiving a partial scholarship, he made the move to Hollywood to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he would study for the next two years & go on to perform as an elite member of the 3rd. year Company.
Shortly after graduating, he founded The Vesper Theatre Company, which he performed in & ran for the next four years, mounting productions of original works & revisited classic texts in unique performance spaces throughout the greater Los Angeles area. In 2012, he put his theatre co. on hold in order to focus on his training & work within the Film & TV market.
With his quick Celtic wit & knack for timing, Corey is easily at home in comedic roles, but it is within the dramatic realm that he is most comfortable, lending his innate empathy & natural intensity to hero & antagonist alike.
