Cory Watts
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Watts set out for Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in entertainment. Having being trained in the theatre and performing on stage since the age of 12, Watts applied to and was accepted by the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of Los Angeles, commonly referred to as AMDA. Watts graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre, along with extensive training in Acting for the Camera and Voice, Speech, and Dialects, in the summer of 2013. He was scouted by Amsel, Eisenstadt, Frazier, & Hinojosa (AEFH) agency during his final semester and was signed across the board by graduation. Watts then proceeded to book his very first professional audition, landing himself a co-star role on Nickelodeon's "The Thundermans," and making him eligible for SAG-AFTRA. Since, Watts has booked multiple featured roles on crime recreation series such as Cold Case Files and Unusual Suspects. Alongside acting, Watts is a well rounded athlete and trained martial artist, swordsman, and combatant. An avid fighter since youth, Watts began his martial arts training with Nei Wai Chia Academy in Clute, Texas, training in Wing Chun and Wushu. Cory picked up his first sword at the age of 14, and has greatly expanded his repertoire since. Watts has since been trained by Adam Conn and Tim Weske in stage combat and swordplay.
