Cristina Ryan
Cristina Ryan was introduced to the performing arts at a young age. She trained as a ballet dancer and was a member of the Billy Barry stage school. Growing up she took part in several 'Acting for Film' courses at the Gaiety School of Acting and studied classical violin and piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
She completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Academy of Music, London and then returned to Ireland to do a Masters in Music Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She decided to pursue her love of acting and trained at the Irish Film Academy.
With a strong background in music she has been involved in several stage musical productions including 'The Sound of Music', 'My Fair Lady', 'Guys and Dolls' and Les Miserable' to name a few.
She is known for her role 'Celine' in the TV series 'The Northsiders, and 'Claire' in the Irish Television program 'Personal'. Other projects include award winning Features 'Thank You Come Again' and 'RedRoom' along with 'The Zenith protocol' and 'CON'. She also starred in several dark psychological thrillers including 'Behind closed doors, 'The Switch', 'Hostage' and 'Skylar' and comedies 'Dirt' and 'Twitchy' along with a number of various other credits.
She has been associated with HBO vikings TV series and RTÉ television series 'Damo and Ivor'.
