Cristina Spruell
Cristina Spruell grew up on Santa Catalina Island in the small town of Avalon, where she first fell in love with film at the age of five, watching Titanic on VHS several times a day to see Jack and Rose. When she learned that these were actually actors, she knew what she was meant to do. She started performing on the island with Sean Brannock's children's theater company, Kids at Play, and moved to the mainland to pursue a degree in theatre from UC Berkeley the day after she graduated from Avalon H.S.
Since receiving her degree and transitioning to television and film, she has notably appeared in HBO's 'Sharp Objects,' ABC's 'Speechless,' and 'Mr. Student Body President.' In June 2021, she was awarded Best Actress at Romford Film Festival in the UK for 'Queen Luck,' which she also produced. Her most recent feature, 'him & her' premiered at the 2021 Newport Beach Film Festival. In addition to her theatrical work, Cristina has also appeared in nearly twenty national commercials for brands like Dish Network, Snickers, Lowe's, Samsung, and Subaru.
