Curtis Pickett
Curtis grew up in Chicago's 'Bronzeville' neighborhood. In 1985 he received theatre training at the Walt Disney Magnet School. He played Trombone for his high school marching band, and in Jackson State University's 'Sonic Boom of the South' marching band, which opened for "Motown 30, What's Goin' On?". He became a radio announcer at FM 88 WJSU, and continued his radio career at PRM, the states flagship NPR station. While at PRM, he began working as a television host at Mississippi ETV. After working as a backup singer for JIVE recording artist Marvin Sease, he reconnected with his love for acting at New Stage Theatre in 'A Christmas Carol' as young Ebenezer and as Grant Wiggins in 'A Lesson Before Dying.' He resides in Los Angeles area and continues to work in Hollywood.
