Cyris Laury-Schaefer
Cyris has acted in theater and film from a young age. He starred in the short film "I Am Because You Are", which premiered at the 2017 Hawai'i International Film Festival and won best short film at the Maui Film Festival. The film premiered on PBS as part of Pacific Islanders in Communications series Pacific Heartbeat. He's also had supporting roles in feature films such as "Aloha Surf Hotel" (2020) and "Kuleana/Maui" (2017). He'll next be seen co-starring in an upcoming episode of "Magnum, P.I." (2021).
Cyris was born in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of five he moved to Hawai'i, where his mother grew up. He's trained as an actor at MAPA (Maui Academy of Performing Arts) and Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA.
He's represented by Oahu-based Bliss Models & Talent.
