Dana Schiemann
Dana Schiemann is an actor, singer, comedian and Canadian Air Guitar Champion residing in Toronto, Ontario. Dana has completed the Second City Conservatory and Longform Conservatory Program in Toronto. Schiemann was cast in Toronto's first Second City House Company cast directed by Leslie Seiler in 2016. She's also performed on the Second City Mainstage in four Writing shows.
Schiemann co-produces a pay what you can monthly comedy show with her improv troupe Hot Barley, where proceeds from the show to go a different charity every month. She also co-produces a monthly open improv jam at The Social Capital theatre where anyone can play regardless of their improv background and experience. Schiemann also coaches Longform improv on the side through The Assembly.
You can watch Schiemann in Season 5 of Letterkenny (Comedy Network, Crave TV) where she plays Darryl's doppelgänger, Cheryl. Other roles Schiemann has played includes Miss Elizabeth Ann Hulette (VICE), Denise Bozarth in Fatal Vows (Discovery ID), and the Mayor of Mega City in Massive Monster Mayhem (Nickelodeon).
Schiemann is a singer in "The Jack-Daniel Band" alongside Jack-Daniel Roussel (banjo), Sarah Varty (drums) and Jay-Marie Phillips (bass). They recently debuted at The Horseshoe Tavern downtown Toronto and are quickly booking more and more gigs all over the GTA. Schiemann will also be travelling to Oulu, Finland to compete in the 2018 World Air Guitar Championship. Schiemann won first place in Regionals in June and just won the Canadian Championship title in July. She will be representing Canada in a months time against many other countries around the world.
