Eljay Williams
Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, the graduate of The University of Pittsburgh's Film School, relocated to Georgia to begin working in television. After a stint with Comcast SportsSouth, Eljay Williams began working at FoxSportsNet, holding several production positions before settling in as one of the network's main editors. Eljay traveled with the Atlanta Hawks producing and editing opens for their broadcasts on FSN South, while winning a Telly Award and receiving an Emmy Nomination for his Hawks Image Campaign featuring World Renown DJ Rob Swift. Eljay has directed and edited 3 documentaries. One of which (As the Technics Spin) received the Director's Award at the International Black Male Film Festival. He has also created and produced the award winning Hip Hop documentary series The Stand On Demand, which helped cross-brand Comcast's On Demand service and Atlanta's Indie Hip Hop Scene. Currently, Eljay edits Image Campaigns and other hi-end product for NBAtv / Turner Broadcasting and is the Creator / Producer of TheNewContent, the first all hip hop channel available on Roku Streaming Devices, GoogleTV, Samsung Smart TVs and Apple iPads. Eljay now sets his sites on feature films. His first installment, the indie film Pathways (Sean's Lament) tackles Atlanta's Independent Hip Hop Scene, as it was, in the year 2010.
