Ella Claire Bennett

Eleanor (Ella) Claire Bennett was born in Mobile, AL to Michael and Mindi Bennett and moved to Hattiesburg, MS in 2011. She "fell into" acting after her debut as a performer on the stage as a munchkin in a local community theater production of The Wizard of Oz in late 2016. Shortly thereafter, she was asked by her Wizard of Oz director to portray the daughter of the lead characters in the horror/thriller film Demons (2017 Historia Films). Once introduced to film acting, Ella fell in love immediately and was fortunate to find Tammy Nichols at That's a Wrap TV and Film Studio, where she continues to study acting and improvisation. Her first audition for a casting director resulted in booking the role of Esme Mercer in the much-anticipated film version of Tawni O'Dell's riveting novel Back Roads, directed by Alex Pettyfer. Ella's favorite part of her acting career so far has been getting to travel a lot, meet and become friends with such a wide variety of amazing and interesting people, and getting to "become someone new" with each new role. When not acting, Ella can be found designing clothes out of her big sister's t-shirts, playing practical jokes on anyone and everyone, and taking care of her 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 bunny rabbits!
