Elvire Emanuelle
Elvire Emanuelle is an Actress known for her debut lead role as Mo in the feature film, First Match (2018), produced by Netflix. First Match was written and directed by Olivia Newman and produced by Bryan Unkeless, Chanelle Elaine and Veronica Nickel. First Match premiered at SXSW 2018 in the Narrative Feature competition, winning the Audience Choice Award and the Gamechanger Award. Elvire's performance impressed audiences with media noting her as a "Breakout," and "Rising Star".
Her first Actor's Equity Association role was The Girl in Dania Gurira's play, Eclipsed performed at The Women's Theatre Project and earning her that year's New Times' Best Supporting Actress Award.
Elvire's training is from noted acting teacher, Wynn Handman, who she attributes much of her work to. Born of Haitian immigrants, Elvire chose a path less chosen because of her love for storytelling. Her name is pronounced ehl-veer.
