Emilia Radeva
Emilia Radeva was born on 23 May 1932 in Radomir. She graduated in Acting from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1955. She began working as an actress at the Drama Theatre in Plovdiv, but later joined the company of the Bulgarian Army Theatre in Sofia. She made her debut in film in 1956 with Item One. She has played more than 30 roles in feature and TV films, Adam's Rib (1958), We Were Young (1961), The Icon Stand (1969), Daughter-in-Law (1976), Matriarchy (1977), Home for Our Children (1987), A Leaf in the Wind (2002), The Investigation (2006), Incognita (2012), to name but a few. In 2003 she was decorated with the Stara Planina, 1st degree state order "for her contribution to the development of Bulgarian art and culture".
