Emma Dargan-Reid
Emma Louise Reid was born on the 21st of January 1994 in Melbourne, Australia. She is the youngest of 2 siblings; sister (Kate) and brother (Sean). Her father (Vincent) works in construction and her mother (Brenda) is an accountant.
She began acting when she was 9 years old when she was cast in a lead role for a primary school play. From there she progressed into lead roles for several other plays in school including 'The Wiz' 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'My Fair Lady.' She was also apart of the CPCA (Children's Performing Company of Australia) from age 9-12 studying singing, acting and dancing.
She graduated from high school in 2011 with high success in Theatre Studies, Drama, Media and Dance Studies. With her success she managed to obtain a spot to perform in the VCAA Season of Excellence Top Class Concerts (2012) for her drama solo and theatre studies monologue. From 2011 until present she has been involved in extras/role work for film and television.
She has completed courses in screen acting, writing, and directing in leading Australian institutions such as VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) NIDA (National Institute of Music and Dramatic Art) and Latrobe University.
From the age of 4, she has been involved in competitive Irish Dancing holding state and national titles. She is also an international medal holder.
