Emmanuel Pappas
Born in Sydney, Australia, Emmanuel was born to Greek parents from Egypt, who immigrated to Australia in the 60s.
Emmanuel is a graduate of Griffith University Brisbane, where he studied Communications with majors in Business, Film, and Marketing. He later attended short professional producing programs at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and the UCLA.
Emmanuel immigrated to the United States in 2000. He was co-founder of Los Angeles based production company Kundalini Pictures and On The Road India, a production service company handling international feature, commercial, documentary and stills projects filmed in India and South Asia.
His collaboration with wife Manjari Makijany began with award winning short film, The Last Marble (2012), and continued with The Corner Table (2013) and I See You (2017). Emmanuel produced her debut feature Skater Girl (2021) and is producing the feature documentary, Skate Basti.
