Griffith Mehaffey
Griffith first began his career in the film industry working as an Avid Post Production Supervisor in Baton Rouge, LA. This would lead to many productions in the Gulf South Area ranging from Commercials, Documentaries, Music Videos, Legal and Political Interviews and Independent Filmmaking. While pursuing a career in the Independent Film Industry, he graduated from the University of Dallas with an MA in Humanities with the hopes of transitioning from Film Production to Screenwriting.
From 2006-2010, Griffith worked with a variety of clients ranging from Prize Fighters, Courtroom Judges, Navy Fighter Pilots and former Super Bowl coaches as a full time screenwriter, crafting their life stories and experiences into screenplays. After achieving some notoriety as a writer and producer Griffith would eventually return to independent filmmaking, producing three feature films in the State of Mississippi. Working closely with the Mississippi Dept of Archives and History, the Natchez Festival of Music, and Belhaven University in Jackson, Griffith would produce the Shadows of Aegis Trilogy in some of the Gulf South's most picturesque and mysterious locations.
Specializing in on-location cinematography, color stylization, screenwriting and film editing, Griffith continues to perfect his craft with each new story and production that crosses his path.
