Ingrid Jungermann
Ingrid Jungermann is a writer/director who directed an episode of Queer as Folk for Peacock, and episodes of Starz's upcoming period piece The Serpent Queen starring Samantha Morton. They co-created/directed the acclaimed web series The Slope and created/directed the WGA-Nominated web series F to 7th, featuring Amy Sedaris, Michael Showalter, Gaby Hoffmann, Olympia Dukakis and Janeane Garofalo. Ingrid, who earned their MFA at NYU Graduate Film School, was one of Filmmaker Magazine's 25 Faces of Independent Film and Out Magazine's 100 People of the Year. Their debut feature film, Women Who Kill (starring Ann Carr and Sheila Vand), premiered in competition in the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, where they won the Jury Award for Best Screenplay. In 2017, they were nominated for the Kiehl's Someone to Watch Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards and is currently a Sundance FilmTwo fellow. Ingrid has developed twice at Showtime and directed the second season of Seeso's series Take My Wife starring Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher. They are developing two original features -- one with QC Entertainment and another with Vice/3311 -- and an original series with Warner Bros. TV. They have also directed multiple episodes of The CW's In the Dark.
