Iqsa Aqilah
Iqsa is a Tepper Semester Casting Program alum and she received the 'Emerging Content Creators' scholarship for the '21 Diverse Women in Media Forum. She was previously mentored by Melissa Pryor (2020) and was a WMU D.T & Theatre scholarship recipient (2019). Iqsa is also a nominated Queen's Scout trained at the NYC Juliette Low Seminar '19 to conduct the '100 Girls Project' on their chosen topic of female reproductive system education and awareness. During the pandemic, she started a seasonal script-reading club that reads BIPOC-centered stories and encourages participants to donate to BLM-specific charities such as The Loveland Foundation. She speaks 4 languages which include Malay, Indonesian, and Intermediate Korean. Their hope is to improve society through casting and creating socially aware entertainment.
