Irene Kelleher
Born in Ireland, Irene Kelleher is a stage and screen actress. Known for her portrayal of big-hearted, small town women with something darker at their centre. Her youthful appearance often lends itself to Period Drama. Having trained at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox Massachusetts, she toured with Ian Wild's 'Mrs Shakespeare' off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre, NYC. Irene wrote and played the lead in the short 'Outside The Box' that won 'Best Irish Short' at the Fastnet Film Festival 2013. She was nominated for a Sofie Award for her portrayal of 'Aoibhe' in the award winning short 'The Trouble with Aoibhe' and she won best actress for this role at the Blackbird Film Festival NYC. Film & TV credits include: Game of Thrones (HBO) , Reign (CBS), Beyond the Woods and Dead Dogs. Irene is represented by RBM Actors London.
