Isabella Inchbald
Isabella Inchbald (Issy) is an English stage, TV and film actress and writer. Having won the Carleton Hobbs award in 2017, she joined the BBC Radio Drama Repertory Company before going on to play Jane Austen's Emma alongside Emma Thompson for Audible.
She played Jekyll's mother in feature film Doctor Jekyll (2022), voiced the Queen's letters in BBC One's Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen (2022) and starred in Miranda Hart's debut play, The Most Important Journey (2022).
She is writing and producing a feature film on the life of 18th-century playwright and actress Elizabeth Inchbald. Born in London in 1991, she gained a first class degree in Spanish from the University of Bristol before studying acting at Drama Studio London.
