Israel Caraballo Jr.
Israel Caraballo, Jr. is an American actor, writer, and voiceover professional who was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. His parents are from Puerto Rico. He served in the Marine Corps as a rifleman. Upon completing his enlistment, Israel was hired as a police officer with the NJ Transit Police Department where he served for two years before joining the Newark Police Department. He then returned to military service in the National Guard component of the Air Force, he retired from the military after 20 years of service. Israel attained the rank of deputy police chief in the Newark Police Department and he served a combined total of 31 years in law enforcement.
Israel enjoys writing and he has written several scripts in the science fiction genre along with a sci-fi series. Israel also wrote the vampire film "I Love My Vampire". He plays in the role of Mr. Ochino in the Recession series and he also wrote for the series.
Mr. Caraballo earned a bachelors degree in individual studies and a masters degree in administrative science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Israel attended Rutgers University for his 2nd bachelors degree and he majored in history. He had the opportunity to study acting while attending Rutgers, and upon graduation he continued his acting studies with coaches such as Paul Calderon, Tasha Smith, Herman Chaves, and Charles Michel. Israel also studied film combat with Ricky Barksdale. He is fluent in Spanish.
