Karen Druley
Karen Druley is an American Actress from St. Louis, MO. The wife and mother began acting in 2015.
Acting has always been a dream for Karen but she never thought she had the courage to do it. After marrying her love and raising children, she thought it was too late to start. It wasn't until after the death of her mother that Karen realized how short life really is. Karen decided to take action into her own hands. She needed something to give her that little push to go after the things she wanted. Upon great thought, she created a "to do list" of the things she wanted to do in her life. Karen then realized, it was time to finally "shoot for the stars" and be an actress.
In March 2015 Karen finally got her chance to act and won a role small role in the independent film "Somewhere between Arnold & Festus". That's all it took and she was hooked! Since that very first role, Karen has hit the floor running with no stop in sight! Karen can be seen in many films such as "The Earthbound", "Space Wars: Episode 29", "FM Live", "Going My Way", by Bug Juice Productions. Along with "The man in room 6" by award winning Director, Trevor Juenger.
When not in front of the film camera, or modeling "Pin up", one can find Karen working on the crew, or helping with casting. Most recently, in March 2019 Karen became one of the Publicists for Bug Juice Productions.
Often one will find Karen's husband working alongside her on set. He found that when it comes to Karen's passion for film, "If you can't beat them, join them". If he's not working on set in front of the camera with her, you will find him doing Photography on the side. We're not saying they're a "power couple"...but maybe they are!
Karen's wide range of acting ability has given her a chance to be many different characters. Whether it's the Attorney, or Nurse, the caring mom, or the crazed house wife...don't let the sweet face fool you! Karen has the strong acting chops to play the more gritty roles such as, Domineering boss, Psychotic patient or the villain.
Karen found that just by starting that "to do list", she has been able to overcome the fear of ageism in the acting field. No matter when you start acting in life, you are Never too old to start acting. Because acting is ageless.
Not only does it fulfill her need to create and become something new, it has allowed her to meet many wonderful people. Actors, Actresses, Directors, Writers, Producers, Crew. Keep your eye out! This is only the beginning!
