Karen Knox
Karen Knox is an actor, writer, and director based in Toronto. Knox is best known for playing "Holly Frost" in SYFY's Letters to Satan Claus, "Veronica Vale" in the series Barbelle, and "Boris" in OUTtv's Slo Pitch. Knox has also guest starred in several shows including, Frankie Drake Mysteries, Save Me, and Murdoch Mysteries. Knox is the voice of Shaid in Ubisoft's Starlink: Battle for Atlas. She had also voiced/motion captured characters for games including Assassin's Creed, Watchdogs, and Fry Cry.
As a writer Knox is best known for CBC's For The Record, Boss & Co's Damage Control, Case of the Massey Bodice Ripping, Barbelle, and Slo Pitch. Knox's original short Cons & Pros debuted on VICE.com in 2020.
As a director Knox's film The Case of the Massey Bodice Ripping won best short film at both the Budapest Independent Film Festival, and the Venice Short Film Festival. Knox co-directed the film Black Out City, and has guest directed episodes of Barbelle and Homeschooled.
Knox is a graduate of LAMDA.
