Karl began his work in the Australian film industry in 1996, where he began his career as a cameraman specialising in underwater work. Since then, he has set up his own company Digital Realm and engaged in all sectors of the business from editing through to special visual effects. He has most recently returned to his first love - cinematography - and become a sought-after DP with a passion for speculative fiction and cutting edge drama.
