Katarina Bistrovic-Darvas
Katarina Bistrovic-Darvas, grew up and completed her education in Zagreb. Joined the ZKM Theatre Company after graduating from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She has worked for several theatre companies in Croatia and in a number of films. Her theatre productions include: Predstava Hamleta u selu Mrdusa Donja, Hamper, CPGA, Brat magarac, Ujak Vanja, Kamov smrtopis, Usporavanja, Nesigurna prica. She has received many awards for her work: Zlatni smijeh Prize, Best Actress Award at the Actors' Festival in Vinkovci, Rektoror's Prize, Young Actress Award, Best Supporting Actress Award on the Rijeka Theatre Festival. Significant roles in film include: Zrinko Ogresta's Isprani (for which she received the Golden Arena Prize at the Pula Film Festival), leading roles in Antun Vrdoljak's Duga, mracna noc.
