Kate Godfrey
Kate Godfrey hails from Scottsdale, Arizona and started her career as a triple threat at age 9 in community theater. Her first role was notably as a dancing fork in the ensemble of Beauty and The Beast. Kate was soon offered a prestigious membership in the Broadway Youth Ensemble which led to her performing in New York City's major venues, getting her Equity Member Candidate status as well as being asked to sing the National Anthem for the AFL Playoffs in Jacksonville, Florida and Albany, New York.
After moving from theater to on-camera acting Kate enjoyed many commercial successes, including a National commercial for Marriott Bonvoy working with Academy Award winning director Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Academy Award winning cinematographer, Janusz Kaminski. She then requested to move to Los Angeles to continue her education and passion for acting. Kate was soon cast as Teen Fiona in Shrek at the Thousand Oaks' 5 Star Theatrical directed by Patrick Cassidy. Her multi cam career started when she was cast as a cast member in the reboot of All That in 2019 on Nickelodeon. She filmed 35 episodes before Covid shut down the production originating various iconic characters such as Positive Poppi, Brie, Marie Kiddo and T. Smith to name a few. During Covid she played Riley Spellman in a sketch with Jimmy Fallon on the Jimmy Fallon Show.
Kate stars as the lead in the new hit show Warped! as the bubbly, loud and comical character Ruby. The show will air in January, 2022.
Kate Godfrey is definitely a talent to watch, but it is her dedication, compassion and kindness that will really inspire fans. She is a hard worker and constantly pushes herself to new heights. She loves learning all about the process of creating a successful television show. When she is not making you laugh she spends her time writing, painting and cooking. Her favorite organizations to be involved with are Autism Awareness, The Arizona Kidney Foundation, Child Help and St. Judes.
