Ketrena Kirkland

Ketrena Kirkland, born in Charleston, SC. She is a graduate from the College of Charleston, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in French and minor in music. Ketrena began her singing/acting career at the age of 12. She studied classical voice under the instruction of Ms. June Genevose Bonner, former Metropolitan Opera Singer. Her performances all started with the Charleston Stage Company at the Dock Street Theatre under the direction of Mr. Julian Wiles. As a student, Ketrena had the opportunity to perform in Piccolo Spoleto, Opera in the Ozarks, and Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium. In 2005, Ketrena performed in Aida with the Atlanta Opera. She was later instructed by Ms. Syretta Bell, Dept. Head of Makeup at Tyler Perry Studios, at Georgia State University where she grew a passion for makeup artistry. As a makeup artist freelancer with Estee Lauder, Ketrena had the opportunity to work with top photographers and models in the Atlanta Market. In 2008, Ketrena then moved back to Charleston, SC where she continues to model, act and sing in various projects in the southeastern region.
