Khaliun Amarburen
Khaliun "Haluna" Amarburen is a Bulgarian born, Mongolian-American actress.
Born to a family of performing artists, the granddaughter of Zagdsuren Ayush, the acclaimed Primadonna of Mongolian Opera, her father Amarburen Sanjid also an Opera singer and an ADR Artist, her paternal grandfather a Mongolian actor and maternal grandfather a musician, acting and singing is in her blood.
She grew up in Arlington, VA where she performed in plays at Signature Theatre and Madrigals choir concerts at Washington D.C. events, such as the Air Force 9/11 Memorial Service. She attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA on a merit-leadership based scholarship through the Posse Foundation, where she majored in International Studies and minored in Film Studies, while acting in a campus web series and interning at Paramount Pictures. She lives in Los Angeles, CA.
She is fluent in English and Mongolian and conversational in Mandarin and Spanish. An imaginative, intuitive empath who loves to explore the depths of humanity and entertain while doing so, her passions include acting, singing, traveling, coffee and laughs.
