Khoa is a results-driven entrepreneur and professional filmmaker with extensive experience in films, commercials, and corporate branding. He directed and co-executive produced the full-length feature film, "Walt Before Mickey," distributed worldwide by Voltage Pictures (domestic) and Mission Pictures (foreign). It was also released on most OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon. He also directed the #1 Hit Bahamian TV Show, "BTC Starmaker Season 5," and a TV Pilot for the NY Yankees entitled, "The Tryout." In 2016 - 2018, he is the co-executive and co-director for the upcoming movies about Vanilla Ice ("Ice Ice Baby") and Jose Feliciano ("Behind His Guitar"). In 2021, he directed the upcoming live-action business movie about Jeff Bezos ("Bezos").
Khoa is the CEO / Founder of Kvibe Studios, Live Picture Studios, and Sutudu. His companies are built as verticals for his long-term strategies. In 2014, he was recognized as the fastest growing business in the Tri-state area by the SBDC / SBA. He has over 100 employees and is a studio owner of an 8000 SQ FT building in a highly congested city next to Manhattan in Jersey City, NJ. He's also been recognized for his high-growth strategies, bringing in over 50% of revenues each year, which compelled the USPAACC, the largest Asian Chambers of Commerce in the U.S., to ask him to join and travel internationally with other businesses to further strategize his growth. In addition, in 2018-2021, Khoa was announced to be awarded the "Fast 100" award from the USPAACC.
The growth of his production business-led Khoa to be asked to direct 4 different movies, acquire clients such as Daimler, CAA, EY, Brooklyn Hospital, NY Yankees, MIT, Spotify, Ortega, Atlantic Coast Brands, and many others.
Khoa's been featured in state & county business panel discussions for job growth in the media industry, as well as on NY / NJ radio stations and in magazines like Swagger Magazine, Film Threat, Viet-Sun, NJBIZ, and many more for his influence in business and growth in the film industry. Some of his most recent achievements were winning a Telly Award for a food commercial campaign for Parmigiano Reggiano and being recognized as part of USPAACC's Fast 100.
