Kim Horsman
Kim Horsman was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up by the ocean in Deep Cove. She left for London, England immediately after graduating and trained at the Webber Douglas Academy. Making her home there for several years Kim performed in London fringe theatre and in two weekly rep at the Chesterfield Civic Theatre, Derbyshire. After returning to Canada she began to work in theaters across the country, and as a leading company member for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
With over 80 productions and counting, Kim has had a rich and varied career, and has worked with many amazing creative artists, and friends. She has played roles as diverse as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, to Morla the Ancient One, an elderly turtle, in the Stratford production of The Never Ending Story. Recently Kim completed another season at Stratford as the Duchess of Norfolk in "Henry VIII" , and played Diane, Lisa's grandmother, in the popular TV film "Believe Me : The Abduction of Lisa McVey". Kim has recently completed filming an episode of "Guillermo Del Toros Cabinet of Curiosities" for Netflix.
Kim lives in Stratford ,Ontario, and returns to Deep Cove often. She's thankful for the love and huge support from her family, partner Ian Murray, children Spencer and Georgina, and grandson Aiden.
