Moriah 'Shining Dove' Snyder
This multi-talented young lady won her first award at age two when her mother entered her into a local beauty pageant baby contest, and she's been coming in first ever since. Moriah Shining Dove Snyder who traces her roots back to the Shoshone American Indian Tribe is a talented actress and singer who appeared in many musicals before winning the 1992 National Junior Vocalist title on Star Search. The musicals she appeared in included the first National Tour of "The Will Rogers Follies", wherein she starred as Will Rogers's only daughter, Mary, which ran for two years. She also starred as Baby June in "Gypsy" which also was a national tour, which ran for one year. When she was five years old she appeared in "Annie 2" starring as the young orphan Molly. In 1995 she made her motion picture debut as Missy Dittmeyer, the nasty next door neighbor, in "The Brady Bunch Movie." She also starred as Mary in "The Prophecy" with Christopher Walken, Eric Stoltz, Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, Viggo Mortenson, and Amanda Plummer, that same year. In March 1996, Moriah was named "Best Young Actress and Singer" at the annual Young Artists Awards Ceremony.
