Okezie Morro
Okezie Morro was born in Watford England. He spent the early years of his life growing up in Lagos Nigeria; and came back to England by the time he was eight.
As a youngster Okezie had a talent for football and played to a very high level but unfortunately injury would dampen any dreams of becoming a professional. However this misfortune would open the door towards another career and Okezie soon discovered a passion for acting. Okezie was accepted into prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic art (LAMDA) where he won a scholarship from The Richard Carne Trust to fund his training. Just before he finished his time at LAMDA, Okezie landed a role in his first Hollywood film; the George Lucas produced World War II epic Red Tails where he got to work alongside Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard & David Oyelowo who star in the film.
Since then Okezie has worked steadily in Film, Television and Theatre including working on several BBC shows and making his National Theatre debut.
In 2014 Okezie starred in season 3 of MTV Shuga.
Okezie is one of the Stars of The Mist (2017). The Spike TV series based on the Stephen King Novella is set to be one of the breakout shows of 2017 and is hotly anticipated. The series adapted and exec produced by Christian Torpe will introduce millions of US viewers to Okezie Morro and his talented ensemble of cast members.
