Robert H. Wainwright
A classically trained actor, Robert H. Wainwright has worked extensively in both the UK and Australia, and is a dual citizen of both countries. Since graduating from The Academy Drama School in London, he has accumulated over 17 years of professional acting experience in a broad range of screen and stage productions.
In 2021, Robert's roles have included playing Richard the Amateur Wrestler in Dwayne Johnson's new NBC sitcom 'Young Rock'. He also played Constable Daniels in the award-winning Australian drama film 'Seven Times'. In addition, he played John Jones in Ad Astra's acclaimed stage production of 'The Realistic Joneses', which ran for four weeks in Brisbane.
In terms of individual awards, Robert recently won the Best Actor Award at the 2021 Centrescreen Annual Graduate Films Showcase at Bond University on the Gold Coast in Australia, for his performance as Mike in the film 'Funny Business'. He also won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2017 48 Hour Film Festival in Brisbane, for his work in the comedy film 'Three Fishes'. In addition, his directorial debut 'Headz' won a Golden Lion Award at the 2016 London Film Awards, as well as awards at numerous other international festivals.
