Roderick Teerink
Born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and Argentinian mother, Teerink went on to spend his childhood in Nigeria, Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia and the Netherlands, before attending film school in the United States. Upon graduation in December 1999, he moved to Los Angeles landing sporadic music video and commercial work as a production assistant, actor, dancer and editor. After relocating to Japan, Teerink amassed a large list of credits appearing as an actor in domestic and international ad campaigns for Toyota, Honda, Sony, Olympus and Samsonite. Other projects included starring in, co-directing, co-editing, and scripting an educational series of videos for Yahoo! Japan and an independent Reality/comedy series that aired in Japan and Canada. In 2013 he was cast as Sven on the hit Chilean television series "Soltera Otra Vez", and is slated to appear on HBO LatinAmerica's Chilean production "Roommates".
Besides acting, Teerink is known in Japan as a Music Producer, with three top ten albums on his resume with popular rap artist Hannya. He is also credited as writer on three short stories published in Japan in 2010.
