Roger Petan
Born in Cleveland, Roger Petan is a long time background actor with a career spanning more than 30 years and over 100 appearances. Roger has worked in commercials, television series, cable, network and feature films. First appearing in 1990's I Love You To Death, he was a go to background player in most of the productions filmed in Oregon and Washington throughout the 90s including "Sleepless in Seattle", "Men of Honor", "Prefontaine", and "Assassins", as well as multiple episodes of the television series, "Nowhere Man" and "Under Suspicion." After leaving the Pacific NW, Roger has been a mainstay in productions filmed throughout the Northeast and Midwest.
Some of my favorites have been playing the Abominable Snowman ice cream shop character in the first "Halloweentown". Working with Director Dick Lowry and a terrific cast and crew on the television film "Blaze of Glory" as a photo double, and Stand in for Bradley Whitford, as well as playing a robbery suspect, a bank customer, and a dead body in the morgue. "What a blast that production was." Another more recent favorite was "Them That Follow" with Walton Goggins and Olivia Colman.
"It's always an adventure whether you show up, do a quick walk thru, and wrap, or spend multiple days on set in a featured environment". I am always grateful for the opportunities."
