Ronnie Lamarque
Ronnie Lamarque has been in the car business since 1970, some 46 years, and is the founder and president of Lamarque Motor Company (LMC). Through LMC, Lamarque serves as owner and president for both Lamarque Ford in New Orleans, LA and Mercedes-Benz of Mobile in Mobile, AL. An Arabi, LA native, Lamarque is a true family man. He stands by a credo of, "God first, family second, and everything else falls in place." Keeping those priorities in order, Lamarque's race horses, especially the world famous Risen Star who won the Preakness, Belmont and Eclipse award aren't the only things derived from championship pedigree. He has become a benchmark for success in the automotive, horse racing, and entertainment industries.
An entertainer by birth, Lamarque's first passion was music. As a vocalist for the Nobles, he was inducted into the Louisiana Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After the Nobles, Lamarque took his unmatched work ethic and commitment to excellence to the automotive industry. Like music, Lamarque found success again as a self-proclaimed "car guy." Notably, this success has been personified by his appointment to Ford Motor Company's highly esteemed National Dealer Council, winner of Ford Motor Company's highly acclaimed Chairman's Award, and recognized as the Louisiana Dealer of the Year.
As an ardent supporter of community and charitable organizations, Lamarque is a recipient of many civic awards and honors, and is truly considered an ambassador to the City of New Orleans.
As a happily married father and true New Orleanian, Ronnie resides with his lovely wife Natasha and French bulldog Onyx. Their son, Ronnie Michael Jr., is an LSU Tiger Football Red Shirt Sophomore and is the apple of his father's eye. In addition Ronnie's daughter Kristi has also blessed him with 3 beautiful grandchildren.
