Sally Browning
Sally Browning has 25 years experience in the film and television industry working across all genres including documentary and factual, children's television, drama, corporate productions, TVC and assisting producers with film financing. She has two production companies - Air Pig Productions known for adventure and some of her children's content and Emerald Films known over the last two decades for award-winning documentary, high end corporate, factual series and drama content.
She is focused on developing projects with international appeal and co-production opportunities.
Sally's most recent work as Creator and Executive Producer is the the factual series Project Planet for ABC Australia; she is the creator and EP of the family comedy series, Drop Dead Weird, an official Australian-Irish co production with Seven Network and RTÉ Ireland with a release across broadcast and digital platforms. Season 2 of Drop Dead Weird is delivering 2019 with season 3 scheduled for 2020. She was Executive Producer, co-creator and director of Blue Zoo, a factual children's television series for ABC-Me & RTÉ Ireland.
Her other award-winning factual programs deal with subjects ranging from international socio-political themes, to personal character studies to pop culture.
Sally is a former Head of Development & Investment for Screen NSW (2001-2006) and a former Investment Manager for Screen Australia (2006-2012).
She holds an Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, a boat license and is a qualified general purpose deckhand.
