Susan Engel
Susan Gayle Engel was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Eileen Marie (Johnston), a cosmetologist to the living and the dead, and Jerry Edward Engel, a truck driver for United Parcel Service. In memory of her father, Susan started up a production company, LightSwitch Films, using the name that was created for her father as his CB handle while working as a truck driver. As a filmmaker, Susan has been involved in the entertainment industry for years. She has directed, written and produced feature films, short films, documentaries and music videos. Her first feature film Haunted Maze, a horror, played at many film festivals and has been nominated in the categories of: Best Female Filmmaker, Best Editing and Best Horror Film. The film was placed with online distribution. Susan's second feature film A Twisted Tale, a sci-fi, horror, dark comedy, just landed online distribution. Susan resides in Los Angeles and has varying projects in development.
