Susan Kendall Newman
Susan not only worked in films, but appeared on and off Broadway in the late 70s. She is well known for her social conscience and philanthropic efforts. She served as the Executive Director of several nonprofit organizations specializing in alcohol and drug abuse prevention, and then in child welfare. She has lectured all over the world promoting awareness on issues affecting the well-being of families and children. She continues to work for nonprofit organizations to redefine mission, increase funding and visibility, as well as providing film and video services.
For 20 years Susan has been a successful writer/producer/documentary film maker. Her outstanding productions have made her the recipient of a Golden Globe, Humanitas, and Golden Eagle. She has also received nominations for an Emmy and Grammy Award.
