Susse Wold
Susse Wold is a well-known Danish stage and screen actress. Daughter of famous actress Marguerite Viby - her parents were divorced early and they never lived together as a family - Wold was given the chance to become an actress herself but also fought to find an identity for herself as something else than the daughter of the light and funny Viby. Although often remembered for her small but illuminating role in Matador (1978), she was famous through numerous screen performances in the 60s and 70s and has spent most of her career in countless stage productions, including numerous roles at Det Kongelige Teater (The Royal Theater) in Copenhagen. In recent years screen performances have been further apart, but theater roles have continued to a great degree. Susse Wold is healthy and active in personal life and career.
