Ty Anaya
Ty Anaya was born Tyler Frederick Johnson to Annie and Gary Johnson on October 29th, 1987, in Shawnee, Kansas. He lived in Kansas with his family until the age of 11, when his father's employer (NCAA), moved their offices to Indianapolis, Indiana. While there, Ty attended Center Grove Middle School and High School and graduated in the top 75% of his nearly 800 students class.
He moved immediately following his graduation to Tucson, Arizona to eventually attend the University of Arizona. He began taking film classes, which then led to some minor acting roles at Pima Community College. His first theater role was John Proctor in the play The Crucible, and was the first major role Ty had achieved.
Ty continued his acting and film work, and eventually landed a consistently paid acting gig as an Actor/stuntman at the wild west theme park, Old Tucson. There he learned gun tricks, rope tricks, whipping, horse riding, proper full contact stunt fighting, and major falls as high as 30 feet. During the summers, he would work in the Art Department, helping to make props for the October event, Nightfall.
Ty moved to LA for a short while and worked on a number of different productions in that time. He worked for the companies Once Upon A Time Productions and New Deal Studios, doing work that included but not limited to building sets, painting, making props, transportation, and other various PA work.
In the beginning of 2018, Ty was promoted to stunt lead, having five other Actors/stuntmen working under him, and had even written and directed a dramatic gun fight show for the park.
Ty Anaya was married May 28th, 2018 to Jessi Lin Johnson. In June of that year, Ty spend his last months in Tucson filming With Teeth, a short film by Director Quin Davis and Ember Rose Entertainment.
He and his wife moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the beginning of July.
By the middle of August, Ty and Jessi had gotten jobs with Marvel studios, working in their Motion Capture department.
