Ty Glaser
Born in Southampton, UK, Ty grew up in Highcliffe-On-Sea in Dorset. She is the middle child of 3 to parents Cathy (a nurse) and Peter (a photographer). From an early age she enjoyed music and dance, going on to study at The Northern Ballet School in Manchester from the age of 16-19. It was whilst at NBS the Australian director and screenwriter, John Duigan (Lawn Dogs, Sirens, The Parole Officer), discovered her and offered her a role in his next feature film. After graduating from NBS Ty moved to London, signed with her acting agent, and has been gracing our screens and stages ever since.
In 2010 she made her theatrical debut in David Hare's 'The Blue Room', going on to star in ''Tis Pity She's a Whore' at The West Yorkshire Playhouse and as the title role in 'Yerma' at The Hull Truck and Notting Hill Gate Theatres.
Ty is an ambassador for the UK charity Mencap.
