Tyler Williams
An Honours BFA from Ryerson University, independent filmmaker, actor and stuntman, Tyler's largest success has come from the advertising world as a director for Untitled Films. His accolades include: Molson Canadian "Project Indonesia", which aired during the 2014 Winter Olympics and gained nearly 2 million views on YouTube. Mastercard "Priceless Surprises", which featured Justin Timberlake and amassed over 29 million online views. Gilette "Go Ask Dad" racked up over 6 million views on Youtube, won a Bronze Lion at Cannes and has garnered press from the likes of Vanity Fair, Esquire, and many others.
A lifelong martial artist and action film aficionado, Tyler earned his black belt in Woo Gar Mo Sut and continues to train in different martial arts, with a focus on fight choreography and stunts. His short films have have won multiple awards in festivals across North America, the most notable being "All-In" which premiered at the Action On Film Festival in Los Angeles and screened at festivals in Toronto, New York, Las Vegas, Grand Rapids and Boston. It won awards for "Best Fight Choreography" and "Male Action Performer of the Year" and nominations for "Best Stunts", "Best Editing" and "Best Short Film". Hot on the heels of this success, Tyler is primed to produce and direct his first feature film based on the characters that he brought to life in the "All-In" short film.
Tyler is the owner of his own production company in Toronto named Eye of the Storm Pictures.
