Vandana Tikku
Vandana is a Singaporean Indian actor. Vandana has the dignity, candour and maturity of a power packed performer.
Over the years, she has appeared in projects ranging from feature films, commercials, corporate videos, short films, photo shoots, television series, web series and theatre.
She made her feature film debut in "Welcome on Board" (2020), which won many national and international awards in film festivals.
Career highlights include her work in the short film "Popsicle" for which she won Favourite Actress Award at ciNE65 season IV (2017). The film won Best Art Direction also.
The short film "Ward 77" won Best Direction & Best Screenplay at National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) 2017. She played the role of coming out of the closet, terminally ill woman.
Her work in TV shows/series includes a recurring role in "No Catalogue" and character roles in "Heroes", "Men with a Mission", "Crimewatch", "Tanglin", "Aunty Killers".
In the short film "Timeless" Viddsee Original Production, she plays the main role. An old couple's relationship is put to test as they have to find inner strength and fight their inner demons to keep their love timeless.
She appeared in advertisements for clients such as Omron, Ebay, Texas Chicken, Goodyear Tyre, Singtel, Swensen's, Michael Trio, National Environment Agency (NEA), The Land Transport Authority (LTA), The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), The Central Provident Fund (CPF), The Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), The Post Office Savings Bank (POSB), Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Limited (SDIC), Health Promotion Board (HPB), Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
While the majority of her projects are in English, she also performs in Hindi such as the short film "Because of you".
Based in Singapore since 1998, Vandana was born in Gorakhpur, India, to a Hindi speaking Kashmiri Pandit family.
